Classes
Over the course of January and February, I will be offering a series of three classes called The Horse Human Connection.
The Horse Human Connection – What does a relationship with a horse truly mean? How is this established? What is the benefit for the horse and person? How do we recognize healthy vs. unhealthy connections? How does the relationship with the horse reflect our relationship with others? This series is focused on developing an understanding of herd psychology, what it means to enter into an equine relationship, and how to interact with horses.
These questions will be addressed in a class discussion setting while working with 2 horses. In Series I, students will have a hands-on interaction with the horse, but will not ride. In Series II, we will evolve into the basics of groundwork and lunging the horse. Series III involves riding. Classes are approximately 1 hour long and will take place in the indoor arena at Beaver Lake Stables in Oregon City. Goodies provided!
Cost: $35 per person, limited space available per class. Although parking space is adequate, carpooling is always encouraged.
